Membership

Membership forms and subscriptions need to be completed by 9 May order for the subscription reduction to be valid and for entry into both the Wimbledon Ballot and the tennis club tournament.  Please send your forms and subscriptions to Dougal Munro as soon as possible.

If you haven’t already done so then please also remember to sign up as a member of British Tennis – It’s free to join until 2012.  Once you are a member of British Tennis you will have access to an exclusive area of the website, in which you will find, features tips and information from around British Tennis.

Joining Twyford Tennis club is easy and we offer a variety of subscription levels.  Simply complete the application form and send it with a cheque to the Membership Secretary. Alternatively, you can pick up an application form from the clubhouse.

Subscriptions/Benefits
The club season starts on April 1st 2010 and ends on March 31st 2011.  The subscriptions are:

Seniors, Aged 18 and over:       £80
Juniors, Aged up to 17:             £32
Family Membership:                  £170                
Weekday Members:                   £50

A deduction of £5 is applicable for all subscriptions paid by 9 May 2010 and also a further £5 for each additional family member.

The Club provides free access to the courts and free floodlighting.  Members will be provided with tennis balls on club nights and during club events.  Keys to the hut and the floodlights may be purchased by adult members from Laura McMahon (Tel: 932 1644) at £5 for the pair.

Visitors are welcome at the club. We operate an honesty policy with respect to visitors' fees - the accompanying member should collect £3 for Seniors and 50p for Juniors for each visit and give it to a committee member at their earliest opportunity. The accompanying member should also ensure that the Visitors' Book is signed before play starts, otherwise the visitor will not be covered by the LTA's Liability Insurance scheme.

Tickets for Wimbledon

Every year the Club gets a few tickets for Wimbledon. If you’re interested in entering the draw for these then please tick the box on the membership form. You will need to have joined the club by 9th May AND have been a member of British Tennis on or before 30th November 2009. To make sure everyone gets a chance the top 6 winners last year will be ineligible to win this year.
